Cold Facts:

Merino wool spun from New Zealand Merino Sheep and combined with a hard wearing and durable Polymer to create an incredibly warm and soft, durable twine from which Woolpower® create their range of Thermal Merino Wool Underwear for women.

When the body gets cold, it tries to create heat by shivering, a natural muscle response to cold conditions which allows the body to generate heat production by up to 4 to 5 times by this action.  The body also reduces blood flow to the extremeties such as hands and feet, to prioritise where the blood should go in cold conditions, namely the vital organs.
