Returning An Item

STANDARD RETURNS PROCESS


I NEED TO RETURN AN ITEM TO EXCHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE/COLOUR OR FOR A REFUND.


Firstly we would ask you to e-mail us at enquiries@baselayer.co.uk advising us that you will be doing this
just so we know to expect it.  Do also remember to quote your order number when doing this.  Please also
be aware that goods may only be returned for refund or exchange if the following criteria are met:

  • Goods must be returned within 28 days of original purchase except where otherwise agreed OR after Christmas where different terms are applied (see our Christmas Returns Policy Here)
  • Goods can only be exchanged or refunded if they are returned in "saleable" condition.  To
    see what we accept as "Saleable" condition, please see our trading Terms & Conditions.

    Baselayer reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange should our standard terms and conditions not be met: Any items returned for refund or exchange, must meet the Company's terms and be "Re-Saleable" and be returned with their original un-damaged packaging (we acknowledge the need to open plastic bags but please endeavour to take care when doing so) , must clearly have not been worn other than to try on for size, must not smell of cigarette smoke or fabric softener/washing liquid, must be devoid of any residue caused by anti-persparent / deodorant, must not smell of body odour and must be devoid of any marks or damaged that was clearly not caused by any manufacturing defect.  Goods must also have their original manufacturer tags in tact where applicable.

    Exchanging an Item.


    You have two choices here to exchange an item.

    1. Simply post back the item to us at the address on your invoice by some Recorded Delivery method
        such as Royal Mail Standard Recorded Delivery and enclose £2.50 for return P&P and we will then
        exchange your item as required subject to availability.  If there is a cost difference to the item you
        require, the cost difference must also be enclosed with your return.

    2. Go on-line at www.baselayer.co.uk and re-order the item you want in the required size/colour and simply
        return the unwanted item back to us for a full refund.  You do not need to enclose any return postage.
        When your item is received back with us, we will process this for a full refund as soon as possible.

    Returning an Item for Refund


    OK, firstly again we would ask you to just call or e-mail to let us know you are sending something back, just so we know.  Please remember to provide your original order number when doing this.  Once we have your item back with us we will process this for a full refund in line with our terms and conditions, as soon as we can.

    Finally, please ensure you return all items to us by a recorded/tracked mechanism to ensure you are covered for any transportation losses.  Baselayer cannot accept any liability for goods being sent that cannot be tracked and may go missing in transit.
