A Family of Products......For When It's Cold!

For extreme cold conditions, there is nothing better than the Under Armour® ColdGear® family range from the Regular ever popular ColdGear® to the Brushed ColdGear® used in many of the mid-level ColdGear® garments, right up to the Metal™ fabrication for when it's seriously cold.  All are designed to maintain your core body temperature depending on the conditions you are facing.  Designed for Thermo Regulation in cold conditions, the brand includes Compression Baselayer gear to Loose Fit mid & outer layer apparel.  The ColdGear® fabrication is designed to rapidly wick away moisture to increase evaporation speed and therefore, wearer comfort.  Additionally, ColdGear® apparel has Thermal properties to help retain body heat and maintain the body's optimum working temperature.

  The Regular ColdGear® Thermal Fabric

Designed for the rigours of sport and ideal for the Football field to the Rugby pitch where you may stop and start often or where the temperature fluctuates at or around that all important "Zero" degrees.  A soft superior feel smooth inner fabric with a lightweight feel that has a micro ribbed inner lining designed to rapidly wick away that all destructive moisture you produce when exercising but to provide the essential thermal defence you also need.

   The Brushed Fleeced Thermal Fabric

Used extensively in Under Armour's mid level Base & Mid Layers, Brushed Coldgear® offers the added benefit of a soft "fleece" feel ColdGear® lining which is achieved by processing the fabric twice to obtain a short lofted soft fleece finish.  This adds to the overall Thermal Value of the garment by allowing a greater degree of warm air to be trapped between the fabric and the body thereby keeping the wearer warmer when the temperature drops below that critical "Zero" mark on a regular basis.  Ideal for the Golf Course, Walking, Hiking and for anyone wishing to obtain just that little more thermal warmth.

  The Ultimate Fleece Feel Thermal Fabric

The ultimate ColdGear® Thermal layer from Under Armour®, the Metal fabricated ColdGear® range.  The Metal™ family is a slightly thicker 4 times processed ColdGear® Fabrication selection of Base Layers that achieves a superior level of fabic loft from a heavier weight ColdGear® fabric, thereby achieving exceptional thermal properties.  Additionally, the fabric's outer face has a durable finish that affords the wearer an unbelievable fabric strength.  Top of the range brand ideal for the Ski slopes of Europe and North America where the temerature regularly falls below Minus 5 to Minus 10.

For When It's Hot

For warm conditions.  HeatGear® fabric is constructed to repidly evaporate any body moisture from the skin and which the moisture to the outside of the garment where it evaporates quickly leaving you dry, cool and light.  HeatGear® is constructed in such a way as to maximise the evaporation process with garments dring very quickly.  HeatGear fabrication is designed as an easy care "Wash n Wear" fabric to reduce garment care time to the absolute minimum but still looking great.

Exceptional Lightweight Fabrication

Metal™ HeatGear® is a gear fabric from the Under Armour® range that is at the leading edge of fabric technology.  A combination of fibres are combined to give Metal™ a fabric conditioning where the internal fibres "pull" moisture from the skin and the external fibres "hold" moisture on the outside to push the moisture away, creating a "Push / Pull" effect.  The fine detailed mesh appearance is where the fabric derives it's name and the accelerated moisture transport is very noticeable.

Loose ColdGear® or HeatGear®

LooseGear® is taking the primary technologies of HeatGear® or ColdGear® and making the gear a little bit loose.  A combination of the fabrics is used to achieve the best results for the environments you find yourself in.  LooseGear® is often well suited to the larger athlete who maybe doesn't require the compression benefits but needs all the benefits that the fabrics have to offer.
