Acceptance of Your Order
We must receive payment of the price of the products together with the delivery charges before we can accept your order. When you process your order you will automatically receive an email confirmation of your order. We will then notify you by email of acceptance of the order and advising of dispatch details and timing.
Prices and Delivery Charges
All prices are in Pounds Sterling and normal delivery charges apply and are set as stated by The Company and are subject to change:

Most deliveries are sent by APC Working Week Day Courier Network Service or, in some instances where no Courier Service is available in certain UK post code areas, by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery as decided by Baselayer. Baselayer reserves the right to elect to dispatch parcels below a certain gross value, by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery or Non-Recorded at it's discretion unless otherwise requested.
Please note that a signature is required upon receipt for all deliveries unless otherwise arranged in advance with Baselayer. Failure to supply an appropriate address for delivery where goods can be signed for during normal office hours, will result in your item being held for up to 7 days at the designated delivery office of the delivery company awaiting collection or to re-scheduled delivery time and date which is the sole responsibility of the Customer to arrange/collect following notification of a failed delivery attempt. If you request a different delivery address after dispatch, the Company reserves the right to apply an administration charge to that request subject to such charges being applied to the Company by the Delivery Company. For excluded postal code zones not covered by our selected Next Working Day courier service, please see Courier Post Code Exclusions.
Delivery Variation Requests By Customer
All deliveries sent by Baselayer are subject to a receipt signature on delivery unless otherwise arranged with and accepted by Baselayer. Periodically, Baselayer will elect to use a non-recorded delivery mechanism from Royal Mail if they deem it appropriate to do so. All other deliveries require a signature as proof of delivery. If a Customer orders goods to be delivered and requests the parcel to be "placed in a safe location" Baselayer will not unreasonably refuse the request subject to it's own assessment of the validity of the request. Such instructions are accpted only with the cutsomer accepting full liability should the goods go missing once delivery has been made. If the request is made and accepted and the parcel is left as instructed and subsequently disappears through no fault of Baselayer or it's Delivery Company, the goods cannot be refunded or replaced as the fault lies with the Customer for failing to ensure a secure location to be left. Baselayer accepts no liability for loss or damage caused by inadequate Customer security on making such a request.
For delivery charges outside the UK mainland including Europe and the Rest of the World options, appropriate charges as published by Royal Mail or selected mode of delivery for the location will apply and will also be subject to any Recorded Delivery charge and will require signature on receipt. Once dispatched by Baselayer, we are restricted by any applied limitations of delivery as stipulated by Royal Mail or the selected delivery company used by Baselayer at that time. For all orders requested outside the UK or EU Member Countries, please e-mail or call for delivery charges unless otherwise shown.
Orders are normally dispatched the next working day. However, for any special order items please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. All special order items are subject to availability.
Non-Delivered Items Due To No Contact At Delivery Address:
Baselayer provides a FREE UK Mainland delivery service at this time. It is the responsibility of Customers to ensure there is someone at the delivery address given at the time of delivery in order that goods can be signed for. In the event that an attempted delivery is made but there was no response from the address details provided and the Company or it's Delivery company are unable to obtain a telephone or e-mail response from the recipient and the goods are returned to Baselayer, the Company reserves the right to deduct the original transport cost component from any refund then made. If the Customer then requests the items to be re-sent, then the order will need to be re-processed as a completely separate transaction which will then be subject to our standard delivery terms. If the Customer requires the goods to be delivered to a new address when the goods are still out with the delivery company and that new address is outside the delivery company's delivery zone, the Company will have to charge the Customer an administration fee equal to the charge that is made on it by the delivery company. Where any fault is with The Company, there will be no cost implications to the Customer.
Courier Delivery Post Code Exclusions
APC Couriers is the Company's preffered supplier of Next Working Day Free Delivery Services. APC Courier Network excludes certain UK Post Codes from it's coverage. These are:
DUB, BT, IM, PO30+. In addition, APC Couriers will provide a service to the following Postal Code areas subject to a surcharge being applied: HS1-9, KA27-28, KW1-17, PH 15-Onwards, ZE1-3, AB37-56, All IV, FK19-21, PA20-78, PH 15 - 44, PO 30 - 41, ALL GY, ALL IM, ALL BT. Baselayer will supply to all these Post Code regions Free of Charge only by UK Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery Service.
Weekend Deliveries & Caveats
Baselayer provides a service that includes FREE Working Day delivery which can take up to 72 hours if delivered via it's preferred Courier Service to accepted Post Code regions. The Company accepts no responsibility for parcels delayed using Royal Mail services to any UK Postal District and abides by the Terms and Conditions provided by Royal Mail as published from time to time on the Royal Mail web site. Baselayer can and will provide a guaranteed Weekend (Saturday) delivery service for customers subject to a surcharge being applied. If you require a Saturday delivery please contact the company to obtain a quotation. All restrictions applicable to Saturday Guarantees are published by Royal Mail as the carrier used by Baselayer. Pre-Christmas Deliveries: (When Appropriate)
Our delivery guarantees are governed by the restrictions imposed by Royal Mail and APC Couriers as our principal carriers. Baselayer cannot guarantee any deliveries being delivered for Christmas outside of the published terms and conditions issued by our designated delivery service providers:

Item Availability
All orders placed are subject to availability of products. As extra stock comes from our suppliers, sometimes there may be a delay. We strive to keep to our delivery times and will inform customers of any delay immediately.
Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the products or you wish to exchange for a different size or colour, you may return them to us within 28 days of dispatch date unless otherwise agreed (see Christmas Returns Policy), for a refund of the cost of the item/s or an exchange.
This is provided that the products are returned to us in their original condition, carefully packaged and with all labels "attached" and tags intact. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned are deemed to be damaged through no manufacture fault, been worn or washed or tampered with in any way. Please note that all parcels must be sent back by using a Recorded Delivery method, to make sure of their safe arrival. Failure to return by this means, will result in the customer being liable for the value of goods returned if they do not arrive.
Any items returned for refund or exchange, must meet the Company's terms and "Re-Saleable" and be returned with their original un-damaged packaging, must clearly have not been worn other than to try on for size, must not smell of cigarette smoke or fabric softener/washing liquid, must be devoid of any residue caused by anti-perspirant / deodorant, must not smell of body odour and must be devoid of any marks or damaged that was clearly not caused by any manufacturing defect. Goods must also have their original manufacturer tags in tact where applicable.
Annual Christmas Period Returns Policy
Buying for a Christmas present? Buying well ahead of the Christmas rush? Baselayer appreciates the need and wish to obtain your items for Christmas well ahead of the Christmas rush. As a result, during the Christmas buying period, Baselayer will allow the return for exchange or refund, any item purchased as a Christmas present between October 1st and 23rd December inclusive within that same year if these are returned to us before the end of the January after the Christmas subject to all other Exchange & Refunds criteria being met. Baselayer reserves the right to refuse to refund or exchange any goods that it feels do not meet the necessary criteria.
Exchange Goods
If exchanging goods, the cost of posting back the exchange items to the Customer must be borne by the Customer. Please enclose this cost of return postage with your item for exchange, as detailed on your original invoice. The cost of re-sending goods as an exchange will be subject to change from time to time as dictated by the delivery / transport system(s) the Company elects to use. Please ensure you quote your order number on all correspondence when returning goods. Where the Company has made an error in supply, the Company will bear the cost of all return postage and will refund all costs experienced by the Customer during the exchange process.
If the Customer fails to return the goods to the Company by a "Recorded Delivery" system such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service, that ensures it can be "traced" at the point of posting and arrival at destination, the Company cannot be held liable to exchange the goods without proof that the goods have been received by the Company.
Faulty Goods Exchange/Refunds
Your rights are fully covered for any goods bought that suffer a fault that can be considered as a "Manufacturing" Fault as opposed to wear and tear. Should your goods suffer a fault of this nature, we will exchange or refund you fully subject to receiving the faulty goods back for validation of the fault. Baselayer reserves the right to decline to exchange or refund if it is clear that the fault is not a manufacturing fault but one caused by wear and tear. "PLEASE ENSURE YOUR GOODS ARE WASHED BEFORE RETURNING THE ITEM BACK TO US" Baselayer also reserves the right to decline to exchange or refund faulty returned goods if it feels that the manner in which the goods have been received is un-hygienic. In such circumstances, Baselayer reserves the right to return these goods to you for washing before they are replaced or refunded.
Refunds
If returning goods for a full refund, the Customer is not required to include any "Return Postage" costs with their returned goods as this is only required when returning goods for an Exchange. Simply send the goods back to the Company along with clear details of the sender and order number, and the Company will provide a full refund via the same payment method used in your original purchase. We will then confirm when this refund has taken place by e-mail. Baselayer cannot accept back items that it has been requested to obtain for a customer, that are not "normally" part of its range and have been ordered such as a Special Order Item that was brought in at the specific request of the Customer. In the event a customer orders a line that is not normally held as part of our range and the item is too small, too big or simply did not meet expectations and is not faulty, Baselayer reserves the right to refuse to accept these goods back or provide a refund for the original cost of purchase. All other customer rights are upheld.
Special Offer Multi Buy Deals
From time to time, Baselayer Ltd offers its customers the opportunity to purchase items on special offer package deals as multi-buy offers.
These offers are subject to specific terms and conditions in respect of refunds and are subject to limited availability of special stocks that are purchased to enable these deals to be offered. Baselayer Ltd reserves the right to withdraw any offer it may run without notice. No offer is limited to a maximum number per customer and can also usually be mixed in terms of sizes as required.
In the event that any customer purchasing any multi-buy deal, returns individual items that were part of the deal for a refund, the refund will be proportional to the value of the retained item(s) in the event that any retained item(s) had been purchased at our standard published prices and not a direct fraction of the special offer multi-buy deal price.
For example: Baselayer sells an item at £20.00 each at normal retail price. However, Baselayer may offer the opportunity to purchase two of these items at a special deal price of £30.00. If a customer takes advantage of the offer and purchases two items at the special price of £30.00 but then returns one of these items for a refund, that refund will be for £10.00 making the price for the retained item equal to the standard purchase price of a single item.
All offer calculations are based on the offer items being purchased together to make up the Special Offer multi-buy deal and all items being retained by the customer.
If one item is returned for refund, that refund will duly reflect the actual purchase price of a single item purchase as opposed to the Special Offer price which is exclusively reserved for items purchased together and retained by the customer on any deal Baselayer elects to run.
Christmas Returns:
Baselayer will except returns/exchanges for items bought early for Christmas beyond it's stated 28 day returns policy to 31st January of the subsequent year, as long as all tags are intact and the items are unworn and returned to Baselayer in saleable condition. All Exchange requests must be accompanied by the stated fee for returning exchange goods, as detailed on the Customer's original invoice and subject to change from time to time.
